Delete your data

Disconnect one account, keep the rest

Every connection is separate, and removing one does not touch the others. Open your site in the dashboard, go to the connection you want gone, and choose Disconnect. We revoke the access token with the provider and delete our stored copy of it immediately.

This applies to each of the services Seolyn can connect to: a Facebook Page or Instagram account, a Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, Google Ads, WordPress, and Shopify. You can also revoke our access from the provider's own settings, and we will stop using it the next time we try.

Delete everything

Email sales@seolyn.io from the address on your account, with “Data deletion request” in the subject. We confirm within two business days and complete the deletion within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason, and we do not ask for one.

What is deleted: your account and login, every site you added, the keywords researched for it, the articles written for it, the scheduled posts we had queued, your brand brief and business details, access tokens for every connected service, and the analytics we recorded for your pages.

What we cannot delete for you

Content we published to somewhere you own stays where it is. Articles on your WordPress or Shopify blog, posts on your Facebook Page or Instagram account, and posts on your Google Business Profile all belong to you and remain under your control after deletion. Delete them from that platform if you want them gone, and do that before asking us to delete your account, because afterwards we no longer have the access needed to help.

Two things we keep, and only these: payment and invoice records that United States tax law requires us to retain, and backups, which expire on their own within ninety days and are never used to restore a deleted account.
